“Red Zone” Countries
Countries where a researcher may be needed are identified as a ‘Red Zone’ country. Due to war, political unrest, unreliable communications infrastructure, lack of standardized procedures, bureaucracy, or ambivalence toward America and/or background checks – Red Zone countries have unpredictable turnaround times, and many closed businesses and schools. Local assistance and surcharges may be required.
